Backstage Update on MVP Possibly Returning to WWE
As noted, former WWE star MVP was one of the numerous former talents WWE reached out to regarding a possible brand split return. According to The Wrestling Observer, it’s unlikely MVP will be returning, but it’s not a dead issue at this point.

The report added a lot of deals WWE was offering former talents were pretty low, and some of the talents feel the deals are too low to sign.
WWE Injury Updates
In WWE injury news, Dave Meltzer confirmed on wrestling Observer Radio that Bray Wyatt did indeed sustain a sprained ankle on WWE Smackdown Live this week. Wyatt was still planning on working weekend WWE live events as of Wednesday morning, but if he misses the events that could be an indication that the injury is a bit more serious. As noted, Wyatt refused to have the match stopped on Tuesday night, and also refused to be checked on by trainers.
With regards to Paige’s injury, word is she’s dealing with back and shoulder issues, and she’s likely to be out of action for about two more weeks. The injury is not said to be serious.
