According to PWInsider.com, both prosecutors and the defense for Jimmy Snuka requested that the charges against Snuka be dropped, however Lehigh County Judge Kelly L. Banach, denied the request and added the case will be revisited in December.
Earlier today, Chief Deputy District Attorney Charles Gallagher requested charges of involuntary manslaughter and third-degree murder stemming from the 1983 death of Snuka’s then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino in Allentown, PA, be dropped. Judge Banach previously shot down an attempt to have Snuka hospitalized, and Gallagher argued in court today that if the Judge didn’t believe Snuka’s issues would improve, there was no point in continuing the case.

Snuka’s defense attorney, Robert Kirwan also pushed for a dismissal, and claimed Snuka’s condition is so bad at the moment that he doesn’t even recognize his own wife. Judge Banach said that while she would entertain the idea of dropping the charges should new evidence arise constituting dismissal, for the time being the charges stand and the case will be revisited in December.
