Cody Rhodes

The Heroes and Villains Fanfest announced Cody Rhodes will appear at their upcoming New Jersey and Atlanta, Georgia events.

Cody, as well as his wife and former Smackdown host Brandi Rhodes, will appear at the New Jersey event at the Meadowlands Exposition Center on July 2 & 3, as well as the Atlanta event at the Georgia World Congress Center on November 19 & 20.

Cody commented on the announcement with the following:

Cody is referencing his scheduled appearance as Stardust back in January, which was supposed to get a confrontation between himself and Stephen Amell, but it was cancelled due to a snowstorm in the Northeast.

Intergender Wrestling

Houston Press’ Cory Garcia posted a new editorial asking if intergender wrestling could work in today’s WWE, considering how it has been introduced and succeeded in other promotions.

The article references WWE’s position as a ‘family friendly entertainment’ company for being a reason why WWE might not have these matches, but notes that Lucha Underground has made it work successfully, and Chikara crowned Kimber Lee as their main champion. Additionally, Garcia notes “The World’s Cutest Tag Team” Candice Larae and Joey Ryan as being one of the independent scene’s most popular teams, but questions if WWE could make it work compared to these other promotions.
