WWE superstar Sheamus says he would love to join the Marvel Universe, according to his answers from a recent Q&A session at a Wizard World Comic Con Philly appearance.
Sheamus (quotes via Movie Pilot) said:
“I want to be a part of the Marvel Universe. I’m a big fan of the Marvel comics and The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, but I would love to be a part of the Marvel Universe.These comments are similar to ones Sheamus made during a recent promotional appearance for his role as Rocksteady in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows. Sheamus told Digital Spy he’s always wanted to play Venom in the Spider-Man universe.
As far as returning to the TMNT franchise, Sheamus said he would love to, adding:
“I had so much fun doing this movie, so much craic doing it – I’d love to have another opportunity to do another one. With this movie I think you get a taste of what Bepop and Rocksteady are all about. There are so many new characters involved so it’s great for the audience, great for the fans of the Turtles as well as the casual fans.”
