WWE Royal Rumble
WWE issued a new survey to fans that attended this year’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV in Orlando.
The questions asked which events were attended (Royal Rumble and that weekend’s NXT TV tapings at University of Central Florida), and what you spent at the shows or over the course of the weekend, including food, transportation and lodging.
Additionally, the survey asked if you think you will attend Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, and gauged the interest level of possible host cities for future WWE Royal Rumble events.
The poll listed the following cities/regions for possible future WWE Royal Rumble locations:
Boston, Seattle, San Francisco-Santa Clara-San Jose, Tampa, Detroit, Miami, Denver, San Antonio, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Houston, Chicago, San Diego, Phoenix-Glendale, Washington, D.C., Orlando, St. Louis, Baltimore, Toronto, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Atlanta, New York – New Jersey
The Rock
Fandango (the film website, not the wrestler) recently confirmed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s planned Big Trouble In Little China remake is still in the works, according to the actor himself.
The Rock was conducting the interview while doing press for his upcoming Central Intelligence film co-starring Kevin Hart. The Rock said the film is still happening, but it’s just one of those films that is so loved by fans that it needs a lot of care while trying to remake it.
Additionally, The Rock commented on his remake of another classic film, Jumanji, and how his feelings on remakes are especially true with this film, and its star Robin Williams:
“And with Robin [Williams], I get it. That’s a big polarizing thing when you make an announcement about Jumanji, so it’s important for fans to know that Robin’s character is immortalized and untouched. And without giving anything away, there’s a cool way that we’re going to honor that. I think his family’s really gonna like it and be proud.”
