Backstage Charlotte is complaining to her father about having to defend the Women’s title tonight. Ric Flair says he doesn’t know who he is more disgusted with: Shane McMahon for making this match or Natalya for thinking she is good enough to challenge for the title. For some reason that I will never be able to comprehend, Dr. Phil interrupts them. Dr. Phil tells Charlotte that he is proud of the progress she has made. Dr. Phil goes on to say that her father is holding her back. She needs to learn how to stand on her own feet. She is letting her father drag her down. Charlotte gets upset and walks away. Ric Flair tries to woo In Dr. Phil’s face, but Dr. Phil beats him to the punch.
Kevin Owens is yelling at Shane McMahon about how he got screwed tonight. Owens warns that what happens to Sami Zayn tonight is on Shane’s head. Shane retorts that Owens is not going to screw over Zayn again. Shane has Owens kicked out of the building.
The New Day come out to talk about the tag team title tourney, which coincidentally is brought to you by Booty O’s.
Tag Team #1 Contenders Tournament Round One: The Lucha Dragons vs The Dudley Boyz
After a short commercial break Kalisto is laid out on the outside of the ring. The trainers are checking on him. During the replay we see that Kalisto hit the ropes and D-Von pulled down the top rope. Kalisto landed face first on the mats outside. The Dudleys are working over Sin Cara in the ring. Bubba Ray tags in and screams “Viva Mexico” as he crossfaces Sin Cara over and over again. D-Von tags in, but Sin Cara shocks him with a multiple spring board attacks. Bubba Ray tags in and they hit the 3D for the win.
