MMA Junkie has confirmed CM Punk will be a playable fighter in the upcoming UFC 2 video game by EA Sports.
MMAJunkie’s Mike Bohn confirmed the news in a hands-on look at the new game; Bohn also noted Brock Lesnar was removed from the game. Lesnar, who was likely removed once his WWE deal was signed, did appear in the first UFC game as a DLC fighter.
Punk is expected to make his UFC fight debut sometime in 2016; the game is scheduled for a spring 2016 release.
Heath Slater
As noted, Heath Slater was interviewed by Michael Cole this week since he broke the top ten in Slammy voting for Superstar of the Year.
The video ‘you demanded’, seen below, features Slater talking about social media popularity, as well as him doing some Christmas caroling.
