IS WRESTLING FIXED? AN AFTERNOON WITH BILL APTER is a feature-length one-man variety program inspired by Bill’s recently released memoir “Is Wrestling Fixed? I Didn’t Know It Was Broken!” The book is published by ECW Press, which will be available for purchase at the event. The program will feature stories, songs, comedy, and a healthy dose of audience interaction, all inspired by Bill’s 50+ year career in the wrestling and entertainment business. The event takes the weekend of Ring of Honor’s Pay-Per-View (12/18) and Live TV Taping (12/19), both of which will be held at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

On his one man show debuting later today:
BA: My one-man show, which I will be doing by myself, will be at two o’clock in the afternoon at PhilaMOCA. It’s a former mausolean showroom that was turned in to an art gallery, performance center and theater performance center. The show starts at two o’clock and there’s going to be a former ECW World Champion introducing me. This is not going to be your typical one-man wrestling related show where I am just going to sit there and tell stories. It’s going to be a lot of outrageous things. There’s going to be some videos that no one has ever seen before from my private archives. There’s going to be music, there’s going to be a lot of fun. People can just go to Google and put in “Bill Apter One Man Show” and it’ll take them right there and they can get tickets at the door. I’ll also be selling my book and signing it there as well. I hope that people come if they are in Philly. Hell if you are in New York or Delaware or anywhere around… this is Ring of Honor weekend! Their PPV is Friday night. My show is Saturday afternoon. Then there is their TV taping on Saturday night. A whole wrestling weekend. It’s great and I hope people will take some time to come and see me. I do want to “flag” this. People may say, where the heck is this place? It’s 12th and Spring Garden St. and it’s off the corner of 12th St. right next to Spring Garden Pizza. You gotta look for Spring Garden Pizza, it’s right next door.
On whether or not WWE should get involved with the petition to remove Donald Trump from the WWE Hall of Fame:
BA: No. WWE should just stay out of it. They inducted him already and he’s in there so he’s in there. Drew Carey is in there, Pete Rose is in there and there’s a bunch of unusual characters in there. Just leave it alone. Stay out of the politics. I totally agree. They shouldn’t be involved at all. Of course the question is going to come up because… can you imagine if he wins not only the nomination but the Presidency? They announce him, “Ladies and gentleman the President of the United States and WWE Hall of Famer…” Wow. Huh? I don’t get in to politics unless it’s politics in the wrestling business.
On how he thinks The Authority will react to Roman Reigns after knocking out Vince McMahon, putting Triple H in the hospital and becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion:
BA: They are going to try and make some sort of a dangerous stipulation that probably will take place at the Royal Rumble. I don’t know what that is yet but I think they are going to make life miserable for him week after week after week. I don’t know what they are going to throw at him at the Royal Rumble unless that person that is going to be thrown at him is going to be Triple H.
