Big E Credits CM Punk for Early Success

WWE star Big E appeared on “Talk is Jericho” this week, and he had the following to say about working with CM Punk and AJ Lee and how that boosted his career:

“I talked to AJ, and she told me that Punk asked to work with me, and I got the opportunity later to thank him. He said some really positive things. For a guy who had no real allegiance to me and was in a much better spot than me, to stick his neck out and asked Vince to work with me, it meant a lot,” said Big E.

The Rock Reunites with Cancer Survivor

Back in April of this year, Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor Nick Miller chased The Rock’s car down in a parking lot so he could meet Rock, who Miller said is his hero.

The Rock and Miller, who is now cancer free, were reunited this week as Rock and Miller posted the following on Instagram:

 

Great update to a cool story… I just ran into @giraffe_boy again. The first time we met months ago he was running after my pick up truck (literally running behind my truck thru the parking lot) and I thought it was an excited fan.. I stopped the truck and had an inspiring once in a lifetime moment. He told me he’d been battling Hodgkins Lymphoma and though we had never met, he said that he’d been trying to shake my hand and tell me I was his inspiration to beat it. Well I happened to run into Nick again and he told me since I posted our pic on Instagram along with our story that made national headlines – his life had completely changed. He’s become a source for inspiration and hope for people around the world going thru their tough times. He’s been asked to speak to kids at schools and the best part he told me…. he’s been cancer free for two years now. Hell yeah bud! I always say it, but moments like this with fans will always be the best part of my job. And what a helluva reminder for us all to count our blessings.. cause there’s always something to be grateful for. Stay strong Nick and if any of y’all are out there going thru your own challenges then you stay strong too and I hope this post helps in some small way. ~ DJ

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
