MVP Done with TNA?
MVP posted a tweet this evening indicating he has likely left TNA. Rumors of MVP’s departure have been circulating for a while because of his independent bookings and recently because of the Hernandez issue.
MVP’s departure seems to be a direct result of Hernandez’s release from TNA earlier today. Hernandez was released following a dispute with his Lucha Underground contract. MVP recruited Hernandez to be a part of the Beatdown Clan faction. Although Hernandez told TNA that he had no contractual obligations, they would later find out that Hernandez was not granted a release from Lucha Underground. (You can read the full story here).
MVP signed with TNA in February 2014 and was under contract through February 2016. There has been no official confirmation of his departure, but it appears both sides have moved on.
