NXT In Philly
PWInsider.com is reporting WWE will not be hosting any NXT live events at the 2300 Arena, formerly known as the ECW Arena, next month.
The company has released the holds they had requested for the building, which would have seen shows on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th. According to the report, WWE said the venue was too small, and they would explore options in the Philadelphia area.
Previous reports had WWE rumored to be looking at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, which has also hosted the 2011 edition of TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
