Stephanie McMahon comes out and talks about how embarrassing last week was, and she says it’s been really hard on her family dealing with what she did. Brie Bella comes out and tells her to stop, and Stephanie tries to make amends but Brie says she can go to hell and this is insulting. Stephanie says she will treat Nikki fairly again, and even give her a raise, so Brie says she can agree to that as long as Stephanie agrees to her demands. Brie says she wants her job back, and Stephanie says a big raise for Nikki is good, and they only need one Bella in WWE. Brie says she will see her in court, but Stephanie stops and says she can agree to Brie’s demands if she will drop all of the charges.
They agree to drop everything… as long as Stephanie agrees to one more thing, then Brie tells her she wants a match at Summerslam. Stephanie says OK and thinks it’s a title match, and says she will promote it, but Brie says she wants the match with Stephanie herself. Stephanie says she can’t do it because she hasn’t competed in ten years and it’s unfair, then Brie continues to taunt her with the lawsuit and tries to leave. Stephanie begs her to stop and says she will do it if Brie drops the charges, making Brie clarify, then Stephanie reluctantly agrees and tells Brie she needs to clarify something. Stephanie looks up and slaps the hell out of Brie, knocking her off the apron, and she tells Brie she will make Brie her bitch. Brie runs in the ring and tackles her, then punches her a few times until some agents and Triple H pull them apart.
BP: It’s been a long time since Divas/women main evented RAW, but this was a hell of a segment. This has been a bit of a slow burning feud, but it’s been well planned out and entertaining. Stephanie is easy to hate, and this is the perfect type of special attraction match to put on a big card.
