WWE Superstar Batista made a special appearance for the live crowd at Full Sail University tonight, as WWE was taping four weeks of NXT television episodes. He played up some of the fans' chants and thanked the WWE Universe for their support of the NXT developmental brand. Bo Dallas came out and shook his hand. The crowd started a "Bo-Tista" chant, so Batista hit him with a sit-down powerbomb to send them all home happy.
This was Batista's last scheduled appearance for the WWE for his current run, as he will be leaving to promote Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" film quite soon. Little is known about his status at this time.
At the start of the taping there were several different chants for Superstars released earlier today.
For the first time in quite a while, WWE Divas Champion Paige was not present for the NXT tapings. Neither was Emma, and Bo Dallas only made an appearance for the live crowd. It looks like those who have made the jump to the main roster are beginning to distance themselves from the NXT promotion.
