The Wrestling Observer is reporting that wrestling legend "Flying" Red Bastien passed away today at the age of 81. Bastien wrestled around the world in the 50s, 60s, and 70s and is credited with the discovery of such names as Sting and the Ultimate Warrior, among others.
Bastien had been struggling with Alzheimer's for several years, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at this time.
