MAIN EVENT: Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho starts out this match by slapping the World Champion in the face, sending him into an angry rage, beating on Jericho in the corner until the referee makes him break the count. Jericho eventually comes back with knees to the gut, but Sheamus powered him back down into the corner. Sheamus hits his signature forearm chops to Jericho's chest as he hangs over the ropes on the outside. Sheamus runs the ropes and slams into Jericho full-force, sending him crashing over the announce table on the outside as we cut to our final commercial break.
Back from break and Jericho is back in control in the middle of the ring, hitting several big knees and chops to the chest of the World Champion. We get a quick replay of what happened during the commerical break, and apparently Jericho took over by throwing Sheamus over the announce table as Michael Cole cowered in the corner like a baby.
Back in the ring and the crowd is getting behind Sheamus as he works his way back with several shots to the stomach. Jericho goes for a spear in the corner but Sheamus rolls out of the way sending his opponent crashing into the steel ring post. As Jericho recovers he is met with a big running double axe-handle, sending him to the mat once again. Jericho manages to gain some momentum, but Sheamus kills it with a big running knee lift and the Irish Curse Backbreaker.
Sheamus brings Jericho back up and hits his running front powerslam, but only gets two. Sheamus sets up for the Brogue Kick, but Jericho ducks under which gets the Champ hung up in the ropes. Jericho off the ropes with a signature springboard dropkick, followed by a Lionsault, a pin…but Sheamus kicks out.
Jericho locks in the Wall of Jericho as the crowd goes crazy in support for Sheamus. He almost reaches the ropes, but Jericho brings him back to the center and sits down harder in the Walls. Sheamus eventually powers Jericho over and kicks him away, before hitting the White Noise for a very close two-and-a-half kick out. Sheamus sets up in the corner and runs for the Brogue Kick, but Jericho ducks under and hits the Codebreaker out of nowhere! Cover, one…two…but Sheamus kicks out again! Jericho looks on like there's nothing he can do to put down the World Champion.
As Jericho turns around Sheamus jumps off the top rope only to be met by about 70% of a Codebreaker in mid-air. Crowd goes crazy with a big "Y2J" chant as he goes for the cover, but Sheamus kicks out yet again before the three! The two men pull themselves to their feet, with Jericho coming to first as he begins yelling at Sheamus to get up. In a rage Jericho runs into a big Brogue Kick for a final three count.
Winner: World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus
-Following the match Sheamus celebrates on the ramp, but is interupted by Alberto del Rio's music. Del Rio's car comes out and Sheamus goes after it, but is attacked from behind by Alberto del Rio, as Ricardo is driving the car. There is a viscious spot where del Rio locks in the Armbreaker from the floor, with Sheamus hanging over the ramp screaming in pain. The show goes off the air with referees and officials trying to break del Rio's hold.
