Exclusive: Details On Brock Lesnar In WWE ’12’ The Video Game
Even TMZ is jumping all over the story of the Brock Lesnar video being released tomorrow. Additionally, UFC President Dana White confirmed to the celebrity news site that Lesnar will be a part of the WWE ’12 video game.
While many are labeling the video being released as a “commercial,” key sources within WWE have been calling the video a “trailer” this evening. I don’t know the legal reason for that, but it seems to be the buzz word in WWE in regards to Lesnar.
According to WWE sources, the video was shot sometime in the past couple of days by longtime Lesnar confidant Paul Heyman and his Looking 4 Larry advertising agency. It is believed Lesnar will be doing an exclusive interview to promote the game tomorrow with ESPN as well, which has not been reported anywhere else as of this posting.
Lesnar is scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem in a Number One Contenders’ Fight for UFC in December. There are no plans for Lesnar to be allowed by UFC to compete in a WWE ring, even for WrestleMania, at this time. The video game deal was described by someone in WWE as “a win-win scenario for WWE, UFC, Brock, and everyone involved.”
