VICE’s documentary about Vince McMahon reportedly has an airdate.
In the newest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the two-hour documentary, titled “The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon” will air on Tuesday, October 18th at 8 p.m. EST. WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite will air head-to-head in the same timeslot on their respective channels; Dynamite will air on Tuesday, rather than Wednesday, due to TBS’s coverage of the MLB Playoffs.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics also reported the timeslot. Thurston noted that he was interviewed for the documentary, as were Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez.
The Vince McMahon "Nine Lives" documentary airs on Vice on Tuesday, October 18, according to WON.
I was also interviewed for the documentary.
It's airing in the same 8-10pm time slot as NXT on USA and a preempted Dynamite on TBS.

In June, the Wall Street Journal reported that the WWE board was investigating a secret $3 million settlement he agreed to a departing employee he allegedly had an affair with. According to a second report in July, he agreed to pay more than $12 million to four women with WWE ties in order to “suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.” McMahon then retired on July 22.
Multiple projects about McMahon are still in development, including one by HBO’s Real Sports. Netflix’s docuseries is also being worked on.
