UK News: Two New Matches Signed For “Best of British 1”

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

  • Rob Hunter Makes IPW:UK Return; Morales Makes Debut

Two of the top young competitors in England’s midlands today in Rob Hunter and Morales will battle it out against each other at Best of British 1 on January 23rd 2005.

The 22 year old Hunter, who made his IPW:UK debut at the first show where he lost in a close fought contest against Jonny Storm. This time the ‘Sensation of the Nation’ will be taking on somebody he’s very familiar with, in Morales.

Morales made his way up the midlands ranks in 2004, with notable tag team efforts before branching out on his own. Developing an attitude like no other, this powerhouse will look send Hunter to a 100% defeat record in Kent on January 23rd 2005.

  • IPW:UK Matchmakers Hand Sefton The Opportunity

‘New Superstar’ Stevie Douglas is somewhat of a marked man considering he’s made just one appearance in IPW:UK, annoying two of the most prominent members of 2004 in the legendary Robbie Brookside and the young up and comer Tony ‘Superstar’ Sefton.

Both men want to face Douglas one-on-one, but Brookside will have to wait for his opportunity, as he will be in Dubai in January. This therefore leaves Douglas with only one clear opponent for Best of British 1, that being Tony Sefton, in an International Showcase match.

  • Therefore the current card stands as:

    Best of British: High Flyers

    5 Way Elimination; Scramble Rules

Spud vs. Aviv Maayan vs. Jonny Storm vs. ??? vs. ???

    International Showcase; Superstar vs. Superstar

‘New Superstar’ Stevie Douglas vs. Tony ‘Superstar’ Sefton

    The Lucha Revenge Re-Match

Hombre Del Veilo vs. Cabritro (w/ a special Lucha referee!)

    The Party Boys vs. ???

‘Sensation of the Nation’ Rob Hunter vs. Morales

Plus, many many more AND the debut of Team Charming’s “enforcer”.
