The general feeling in the back was that Vince’s going down to ringside was adlibbed, since his music never played and the workers in the match weren’t aware that he was going to be coming out at the end. We’re told Vince most likely came out due to the show running very long and wanted to get the finish of the match out before they ran out of time. It’s worth noting that the extra time cost WWE money as they expect the PPV’s to end with at least ten minutes to spare.
