According to an article on Hotel-Online.com the former hotel property once owned by WWE has once again undergone an ownership change. The then-WWF bought the property out of bankruptcy for $10.6 million in 1999 with plans to develop the property into a 35-story hotel with a wrestling theme. They sold the property a year later to Mark IV Realty of Chicago for $11 million. They were unable to develop the property themselves and recently sold it for $52 million.
Talk backstage at Smackdown this week was that Orlando Jordan may be the next in line to get the US title.
The $250,000 Raw Diva search was the lowest selling WWE DVD in 2004.
WWE has plans to release yet another theme CD in 2005. Word has it this time the CD will feature themes done by real bands such as Randy Orton’s theme done by Mercy Drive.
