The WWE’s old restaurant complex, The World, received mentions in a syndicated article about Maxim Magazine opening up a line of bars, noting that the WWE project had failed and was closed last year.
Newsday.com features an article on RAW Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro with quotes from her online. “I got off the plane and I turned my phone on, and I had 90 messages,” Massaro said in telephone interview yesterday during a media tour. “In all those thousands of phone calls I took, there was not one bad phone call, not one prank, not one bad-meaning person.” As previously noted, the phone has been switched off now after several people complained that fans were calling wrong numbers! WWE set up an e-mail for Ashley at ashley@wwe.com where fans can write to her.
As you may know, Christy Hemme is currently in the United Kingdom doing promotion for SummerSlam which airs on Sky Box Office this Sunday. SilverVision, the official distributor for WWE videos in Europe, has an interview with last year’s RAW Diva Search winner. She also appeared on Sky Sports News as we reported earlier and held a chat online prior with the fans on the Sky Sports website. WWE always send someone for promotion when the pay-per-views are airing on Box Office to try and increase buys.
