World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown crew will be at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX, tonight.
WWE results from the RAW broadcast at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, on March 16: Shawn Michaels & the Undertaker over Vladimir Kozlov & JBL; Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Melina over Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall & Layla; Triple H over Cody Rhodes in a cage match, despite attempts by Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase, Jr., to climb over the top; Rey Mysterio, Jr., over Dolph Ziggler; Chris Jericho had a confrontation with Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, and Jimmy Snuka, leading to Flair punching him, and ultimately Jericho challenging Steamboat, Piper, and Snuka to a handicap match at WrestleMania; Kofi Kingston, CM Punk & MVP over Shelton Benjamin, Mark Henry & Kane; and John Cena versus Edge ended in a no contest. The Von Erichs were officially announced as inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame on their site Monday, but it was not announced on the air as would be normal. There was no reference made in regard to a tribute of any kind to Test, who died on March 13. Look for a detailed report soon from Adam Russell.
WWE dark match results from the event in San Antonio, TX: in a pre-show match, Mike Knox over Charlie Haas, as Jim Duggan. Shawn Michaels came out after the broadcast ended and gave Edge and the Big Show a superkick.

In a report from the St. Petersburg Times, Andrew ‘Test’ Martin was apparently eating when he collapsed, as a half-eaten pizza and half glass of soda was found. Also discovered in his apartment were steroids and prescription pain killers. No official cause of death will be determined until toxicology tests are completed, which should take a few weeks. The promotion in Europe for which Martin was to have joined this week was American Wrestling Rampage, who released the following statement: “It is with great sadness that AWR reports the untimely death of our friend Andrew Test Martin in Florida on Friday, March 13. AWR was honoured to have Andrew on out roster for our 2008 shows and were looking forward to working with him again in Europe this month. He was a true professional and a great person. Our thoughts at this time are with Andrew’s family and friends.” Test’s father, Bob Martin, said that his son “always said ‘Dad, I will never live as long as you”, while noting that Andrew “loved the lifestyle, but knew he knew it was taking its toll on him.” Clickhere for the story.
According to Reuters, Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson’s “Race to Witch Mountain”, which opened Friday, was the top grossing move of the weekend, with more than $25 million gross in more than 3,100 theaters. The film knocked “Watchmen” from the number one spot.

American Gangsters (Nicky & Frank with Crystal) beat Ace Rockwell & Chris Chance in 5:55. Team Ego (Abel Adams & Will Snapp) beat New Wave (Derrick Driver & Steven Walters) in 6:25. Josh Magnum beat “The Warhawk” Dylan Kage in 8:45. Krissy Vaine pinned Daffney in 9:05 with the help of outside interference. Jeff Lewis beat Brad Anderson in 11:17. Ryan O’Reilly won a three way no DQ match over Timber and Truitt Fields by pinning Timber (6:05). O’Reilly and Fields both advanced in the US Title tournament. Rob Adonis defeated Colt Derringer to become the new SECW champion. Cru Jones defeated Bull Buchanan by countout. Reported attendance was 360. United States Wrestling Organization / ATL Wrestling results for March 14 from the Stadium Inn in Nashville, TN, with a reported 57 in attendance: Commissioner Gordon announced that tonight’s 6 match winners would later participate in a 6-man tag match with pairings to be drawn by the fans with the winners to get $600; Jason Xavier beat Chris Norte; Anthony Wayne beat Dominator; Derrick Neal beat Saint; Insane D beat Fast Forward (post-match Saint came out and gave $50 to ID for his spot in the main event); and Kevin Dunn beat Psycho Medic by DQ when Medic hit Dunn with his kendo stick after taking it away from Dunn.

Jackson defeated Jake Sanders in a dog collar match. Adam Bell & Darkside defeated Billy Bell & Thomas Nelson to become the new tag champions. Afterwards, Adam kept beating on Billy when Shane Bell entered and challenged the tag champs to a ladder match. Adam Bell & Darkside defeated Shane Bell & Enigma in a ladder match. Kirby Mack defeated Erico by DQ when Derrick Ryze interfered. Mack retained the AWA Lightweight championship. Lance Cade defeated Jason Blackman to become the new AWA GA champion when James BLVD came in, knocked out both wrestlers, and put Cade on top of Blackman. Reported attendance was 328.

Dirk Manning & Anthony Devlin defeated the New Psychedelics, the James Boys & the Odd Couple to win the tag title. Marc Mandrake defeated Eddie Brock to retain the Ultraviolent championship. Simon Sez defeated Michael O’Toole. Jasin Sane defeated Aaron Epic to retain the #1 contendership for the Hybrid championship. Originally the match was supposed to be Kennedy Kendrick defending the championship against Sane, but he refused and sent Epic instead. After the match, George Martel fired Epic. Jude MacKenzie was declared the new PWE champion when Torcher gave up the title. Mark Zout came out and challenged MacKenzie. Mark Zout defeated Jude MacKenzie by countout.
