1. How did you get into the business? I drove by NWA Anarchy one day and talked to Jerry Palmer and told him I wanted to wrestle and he set me up to be trained by Slim J. I trained for 6 months and started working shows with Slim. I started working for APW and was then brought up to NWA Anarchy.

5. Who is your favorite wrestler? Shawn Michaels. As far as putting on good matches.. Can’t nobody touch him!

I feel the need to inform everyone of a serious condition I have been diagnosed with…..OWD
OWD –obsessive wrestling disorder- the inability to make wise financial decisions as well as the inability to make sound judgments as it related to ones personal and professional lives because of ones need to fulfill their own ego in professional wrestling and their tendencies to believe their own hype (even though there was no hype to begin with).
Condition is most prevalent in individuals who have performed at the highest or most elite level in professional wrestling/ sports entertainment and for one reason or another stopped performing and/or competing at said level.
Examples of individuals with said condition include those who have good job opportunities (like myself) outside the wrestling world but do not take them in fear they will not be able to perform on weekends in podunk towns with numerous individuals that operate in there own little world of sports entertainment. Said individuals with OWD try desperately to hang on to something and have hope that one day they will get “a call back”.

I am slowly but surely catching up on NWA Anarchy TV Reports. The school year ends on Friday while many school systems in

What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!
– Welcome to NWA Anarchy, this is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! This week’s edition of NWA Anarchy features the best unaired contests matches of 2008, including a four star plus ladder match with some fun spots.
1. #1 NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles Contenders Contract Ladder Match , Hardcore Hell 2008: The Hollywood Brunettes ("the Wizard of Aaaaaaaahs" Andrew Alexander & "2 Hot for TV" Kyle Alexander) vs. Talent & Money (JT Talent & Andrew Pendleton III) vs. the Wild Bunch ("Brokeback" Billy Buck & Chris King) vs. the New Wave (Derrick Driver & Steven Walters).
Great ladder matches usually provide a potpourri of innovative ladder spots, outlandishly dangerous dives, high impact brawling, and career-shortening tactics. This match not only combined these elements, but it also added the southern style twang that the Dirty South can provide. By Sunday or Monday morning, I’m sure everyone was calling in sick to work the next day. "What genius put a ladder next to us?" It’s a ladder match and it doesn’t take long for the combatants to retrieve it. There’s enough plunder here to keep Dusty Rhodes filibustering for the next six weeks. In a matter of moments, Matthews wipes out the ringside contingent with a double springboard somersault senton and Walters delivers a springboard dive. To the floor, Talent suplexes a Brunette on the floor. Meanwhile back in the ring, Pendleton ones up R. Kelly’s "I Believe I Can Fly" with the aid of Driver. Bodies are piling up like Walter Ray Williams Jr. collects PBA and professional horseshoe championships. Driver shoves the ladder and forces Pendleton to the Unfriendly Skies by wiping out half the opposition. Matthews tries a similar fate on Driver, but Driver blocks the fall with his foot and lands a springboard back elbow. Nice. Alexander sneaks into an empty ring. After commercial, Walters catapults Alexander chin first on the ladder located on the middle turnbuckle. Brutal. After catapulting Alexander on top of the ladder, Walters guarantees that there will no baby making at the Cornelia Holiday Inn. After escaping the confines of the ladder, Walters’ partner Driver delivers a reverse rana. Driver and King battle for the belt until T & M catch them with dueling electric chair positions, but alas, Walters & King mount the top turnbuckle. They deliver stereo missile dropkicks. King T would be proud with all the thump in the bass here. With the original ladder not being tall enough, we get an introduction to the NWA Anarchy Light Fixture Ladder of Doom. After some battling, King backdrops Alexander on a bridged ladder. Alexander’s impact absolutely destroys the ladder. Supposedly, this leaves us with only one ladder left. After commercial, several teams vie for control of the ladder. The ladder’s height and base quickly come into play. Walters hits an incredible 450 senton through the ladder. That’s something you rarely see in southern wrestling. King tinkers with the ladder before resting it on the top rope. He then retrieves the broken ladder. King spends several odd moments figuring out what to do. Well, it takes a few moments and provides enough time for Alexander to interrupt the party with a chair and implement an incredibly ludicrous strategy that could only be pulled off in a ladder match. With King standing on top of the utility ladder that is mounted on top of the original ladder and the top rope, Driver, Pendleton and Alexander implement an incredibly ludicrous and effective strategy. They place the chair beneath King and use the utility ladder as a sliding board to wipe out the four remaining wrestlers. Holy nuts, I have never seen anything like that. More impact wrestling involving the broke ladder between Driver, Pendleton, and Alexander. After commercial, Talent and King fiddle with the broken ladder. T & M set up King and lands the legdrop Decapitator from several rungs up the ladder. Talent prevents Walters from reaching the contract with a full nelson facebuster bomb. Then King and Matthews battle on top the ladder. King fights off T & M with a double elbow. Driver uses the original ladder as a battering ram by wiping both members with a moonsault. Cue the "this is awesome" chant. Walters eats a huge face first corner whip into the ladder. Alexander bum rushes Walters in the corner before setting up the original ladder in the opposing corner. Walters whips Alexander onto the ladder and over the top rope to the floor. The body count has surpassed the death rate of Smash TV. Somehow in the midst, the utility ladder ends up wedged on the middle turnbuckle and the original ladder. Matthews delivers a double stomp to Walters’ back on the utility ladder. King quickly seizes the opening, but Matthews cuts him off. King fights off a superplex and ends up tied to the Tree of Woe. Buck makes the save and destroys Matthews with a fireman’s carry on the utility ladder. King recovers from the Tree of Woe and smartly commandeers the contract.
WINNERS: The Wild Bunch.
2. War Games, Hostile Environment 2008: Konkrete Gorillaz ("Airborne Guerilla" Jay Fury & Nemesis) vs. "the Real" Slim J & Shadow
This match is the culmination of the Konkrete Gorillaz vs. Slim J & Shadow Jackson feud. The winner is determined once all four men have entered the ring and an opponent cries uncle. Slim and Jay kick off the festivities. At approximately the three minute mark, Bill Behrens flips the coin to tilt the favor of the Gorillaz for three minutes. Nemesis sports the broken shard of the Mysterious Benefactor trophy that started the whole feud. The Gorillaz toy around with a bloody Slim until Shadow arrives on the scene. Then, the Gorillaz get nasty by locking out Shadow. Slim fights back by bashing Fury’s head through the cage and connecting with a Screwdriver on the Ropes. Slim destroys Fury until Nemesis realizes what’s going on.
WINNERS: Slim J & Shadow

Joel Dumbrowski will be fulfilling color commentary duties for John Johnson who will be backstage implementing his own version of Operation: Chaos. Notice the emphasis on the last name: DUMB~! Greg Hunter grabs Johnson by the collar to get his microphone back before heading to the locker room. This week on NWA Anarchy TV, Azreal defends the Young Lion’s Title against Billy Buck and Mikael Judas & Shadow Jackson tackle Jeremy Vain & Mr. Rob Adonis.
1. "The Attraction" Hayden Young & Bo "Knows Wrestling" Newsome & Caleb Konley defeated Bobby Shields & Robert Beverly & John Kronica.

– We head to the back where Johnson is interviewing "the Ladies Man" Seth "the Man of Steal" Delay Mignon. He wants to be known as the "Hands of Steal." He’s like the economy, it’s a punch you can’t escape. He promises to go through all comers, including "the Head of Steal" Alan Funk, a WTF moment if there ever was one. Delay delivers a fist greeting to Johnson. "OUCH~!" Guess Johnson is not used to brotherly greetings.
2. "The Bald Head Jerk" Todd Sexton defeated "NWA Anarchy’s Personal Pregnant Dog" TK Kross by DQ.
Add an O to Kross’ initials and you’ll get what Sexton plans to do to his opposition. Kross delivers a punch to the breadbasket when Sexton takes to the Unfriendly Skies, but takes a brutal beating afterwards. Sexton finds himself in trouble with an offensive flurry by Kross including a German suplex into a bridge, but the Technician ends the run with a superkick. Sexton connects with the running knee. He makes the cover, but picks up Kross at two. Sexton awaits in the corner for Kross to arise, but Slim J quickly slides in to make the save. The referee disqualifies Kross. Afterwards, Sexton congratulates Slim for exercising restraint or the lack thereof.
– "The Feature Presentation" Jeff Lewis and his new hire Michael Mosley was supposed to do something, but Don Matthews immediately bum rushes them from behind. They jump him to no avail after tossing them into the ring. Wait a minute, that sounds like a sentence you mind find in the New York Times. Let’s try that one more time. Lewis & Mosley fail in their futile attempts to contain Matthews. Matthews turns to Lewis, but Mosley ends the charades quickly. The Hollywood Brunettes head in to save Matthews, but quickly recall him deserting them several weeks ago to chase off Lewis. The Brunettes deliver a double baseball slide to the "Big Dumb Hick" and the Entourage goes to town on him. All four men take turns destroying Matthews. John Johnson, returning to color commentator, soils himself when the Credits Role. This is just what you would expect from a color commentator who just returned from the Barry Darsow Invitational in
3. "The Hands of Steal" Seth Delay knocked out "the Head of Steal" Alan Funk.
This Alan Funk’s multiple disorder personality gimmick is inane. It makes no sense in a post 9/11 era; who would allow any person with a multiple personality disorder participate in any activities? A few alterations to his gimmick to make it more believable could make for some great TV. Funk hits the Hogan Big Foot of Doom and the Legdrop of Doom before pulling Delay back up. Funk connects with a nice sit down face first powerbomb. To the corner, Delay cowers, pulls out his brass knux and delivers an uppercut that would make any Mortal Kombat character blush. BTW, "Obsession" by Animotion is one of the greatest entrance songs of all time.
4. "The Son of Satan" Azreal w/"the Reverend" Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness pinned "Big Dumb Redneck Hick" Billy Buck to retain the Young Lion’s Title.
This was another strong showing for Azreal and another lopsided loss for Buck. Buck went on the offensive early on, but Azreal just made Buck his personal lapdog. Azreal delivers a brutal beating to his challenger. Johnson thanks his replacement for traveling from
5. "The Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Shadow
The technico contingent delivered a massive legal assault on Vain to kick things off. Mr. Adonis locks up with Shadow and wins a battle of strength on two consecutive occasions. Vain reenters the ring once Mr. Adonis gains the advantage and works over Shadow. To the corner, Mr. Adonis hits an enziguri with Shadow sitting on the top turnbuckle. Impressive. After commercial, the heels retain control by working over Shadow. Shadow fights out of a Mr. Adonis chinlock with a powerslam. Shadow hauls ass to his corner to make the hot tag to Judas. Judas beats the living piss out of a cowering Vain. Seconds later, the Human Bump Machine eats a huge Crucifijo for the loss.

NWA Charlotte emerged from the edge of extinction with a highly successful comeback event last night at their new home, the
There’s been turmoil aplenty of late. The April 25 event was shut down by after an anonymous complaint to the Charlotte Fire Department. The fire department inspection resulted in an initial decision to cease operations because of prohibitive costs of bringing the NWA Coliseum up to code. Promoters J.D. Costello and Jay Joyce quickly reversed that decision, citing overwhelming fans support coupled with the desire of city officials to see them stay in operation. But staying at the Coliseum was not an option, so they’ve moved into new digs. Need more drama? There’s always the ongoing battle with Greg Price (see notes below).
The Metrolina is your basic fairgrounds exposition building. The lights, sound and big screen from the old building were in place, so it didn’t come across low rent at all. No shortage of bathroom capacity. Beer on sale (Don’t get too excited. I believe it was limited to Miller Lite out of a can). I think the place is going to work out fine once they get it fixed up a bit.
“Total Compliance” drew a crowd of approximately 500 fans. The company had to be pleased with the turnout, which was in the range of what they were doing at the NWA Coliseum.
For a company attempting to follow in the footsteps of Crockett era NWA Mid-Atlantic, NWA Charlotte has some unconventional methods to their madness. Traditional concepts like heels and faces and consistent storylines are a secondary concern. Fans are into seeing stars, and the wrestlers in NWA Charlotte are presented as such. They pay to see royal ass kickings and spectacular moves, and NWA Chalotte gives them their money’s worth.
An emotional J.D. Costello opened the show. He got the “welcome back” chant. Costello said NWA Charlotte was back because of the fans. Noting that they didn’t have the façade up, Costello said the Metrolina was either going allow them to build out the existing arena or build them a new one. Costello admitted he was sore at the Charlotte Fire Department for shutting them down, but he went on to thank police and fire personnel for stepping up to help NWA Charlotte get back in business. Costello vowed to do the right things going forward to provide the fans with a safe environment.
NWA Mid-Atlantic Heritage Champion Jeff Lewis came out with C.W. Anderson in tow. Lewis got into it with Costello and his talking was big league. Costello brought up how Lewis spit in
(1) C.W. Anderson beat NWA Mid-Atlantic Heritage Champion Jeff Lewis in 10:20, but failed to win the title on a technicality. C.W. had his working shoes on. Damn, this was stiff. It was

They ran a video for the Queen City Classic Tag Team Tournament on May 30 featuring the return of The Naturals and the debut of the NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Skullcrushers.
(2) Xsiris beat Dylan Kage in 7:28. My first time seeing Xsiris. He’s got a great long, lean, athletic look. This was a good match, but I got the feeling Xsiris is capable of much better. Lots of big moves. Kage opened up a can on Xriris and hit a suplex trio. Xrisis got near falls with a series of swank moves – a springboard missile dropkick, a butterfly suplex slam and a grapevine double underhook facebuster that was the bomb. Kage answered with a sitout facebuster of his own. Xsiris ducked Kage’s Kevork Kick and finished him with the DUI (spinning inverted bulldog).
Costello played the alleged tape of the 911 call that stooged NWA Charlotte off to the fire department. The “concerned citizen” had his voice electronically disguised. Costello said the caller had informed the promotion that he would be in attendance. Out came NWA Charlotte Champion Truitt Fields in a suit coat. Fields said that as champion, it was his duty to find out and he knew the identity of the caller. Fields told Costello it wasn’t American Gangstas or III or Jeff Lewis. “I did it. You can’t spell Truitt without true.” The crowd played along with an outraged chant of “you suck.” Fields said he was the longest reigning NWA Anarchy television champion ever and he got the respect he deserved in
(3) Cameron Valentine & Michael Youngblood beat Team Ego (Will Snapp & Abel Adams with Joey Nuggs) in 8:55. Nuggs got heat for his lizard green suit. Valentine busted out the elbows. Youngblood and Valentine doubled on
Nuggs got all red-faced. He said if Greg Valentine was dead, he would be rolling over in his grave. Nuggs said Team Ego would be back for revenge on May 30.
(4) Vordell Walker pinned Ricky Steamboat Jr. in 9:53 after interference by Phil Shatter. Steamboat is miles ahead of Reid Flair at this point. A crisp trade of arm drags early. Steamboat skinned the cat and waited (and waited) for
III (Shatter & Ryan O”Reilly & Mikael Judas) all started beating on Steamboat. Timber and Team Macktion hit the ring for the save. Shatter challenged them to a six-man later in the show. I thought the babyface side was supposed to issue the challenge in this spot.

Postmatch, Sheik bloodied Berg with a spike. Sheik was almost back to the dressing room when he charged the ring and spiked Berg for a second time. They were attempting to conjure up the spirit of the edgy, wild, uncontrollable Sheik from a bygone era, but it was hard to take it seriously with a manager that looked like he fell out of a box of Cracker Jack.
Team Blondage, Steamboat Jr., Youngblood, Josh Magnum, III and Lewis were at the gimmick tables during intermission. To me, it always feels weird when heels are out doing autographs. They even had a III t-shirt on sale.
(6) British Lions (Chris Gray & Thomas Taylor) beat American Gangstas (Nicky & Frank with Anamosity) in 6:30. Gangstas actually sold some. Nicky took a double backdrop into the lights.
(7) Amber O’Neil (with Krissy Vaine) beat Jayme Jameson to win the NWA Charlotte Women’s Title when Vaine pinned Jameson with the old switcheroo at 8:50. This was advertised as a four way with Team Blondage, Daffney and Allison Danger. No mention of Daffney or Danger. Team Blondage’s heavenly new look works for me. O’Neill did what she could, but Jameson is so green, particularly on offense. It started babyface vs. babyface. O’Neill gradually turned. The best action of the match was the beating Vaine gave Jameson outside the ring. O’Neill put Jameson’s back through the ringer. O’Neill rode Jameson’s face in the corner. Not a spot for the kiddies. The men popped and she took a bow. O’Neill bailed after taking some weak blows from Jameson. Vaine switched in when the ref wasn’t looking and rolled Jameson up. Not good.
(8) Josh Magnum beat Malachi to retain the NWA Charlotte Cruiserweight Title in a First Blood Match (8:02). On the surface, first blood seemed an odd stip for two aerial risk takers. No worries. It morphed into a TLC of sorts. The first potential head buster came when Malachi winged a chair into Magnum’s face. Malachi undid the turnbuckle pad, and they went back and forth teasing shots into the exposed metal. Malachi laid Magnum out on the announcer’s table and dove off the apron with chair. Malachi set up a 12 foot ladder at ringside. There was a clash of chairshots. Malachi got the worst of it. Magnum did a totally psychotic skytwister dive from about 8 feet up on the ladder. Malachi tried to the flesh off of Magnum’s forehead with his boot. Inside the ring, Malachi planted Magnum on steel chair with a DDT, but still no blood. Magnum reversed a catapult shot into the exposed turnbuckle and Malachi bled. Quite a bit. His forehead was covered in blood as he was led from the ring. A wild match typical of the crazy stuff fans have come to expect from the NWA Charlotte cruiserweights.
(9) III (NWA National Champion Phil Shatter & Mikael Judas & Ryan O’Reilly) beat Timber & Team Macktion (Kirby & T.J. Mack) in 11:10. III is really getting over as the cool NWO type heel faction. Their pop equaled Timber’s and was much louder than the one for Macktion. The faces cleared the ring and Macktion hit dives onto III with the assist of Timber, who got zero offense in this match. Macktion used their speed for an early advantage. The execution of their offense was fine, but the size difference was so huge, it was hard to believe Macktion could actually do any damage. The key spot saw Kirby balanced on the top turnbuckle with a headstand. Judas nailed him with a Mafia kick to the face and Kirby took a spectacular bump to the floor. Kirby came up selling his knee. III destroyed the injured body part. Shatter pulled Timber off the apron to prevent a tag and beat the hell out of him. T.J. took the hot tag. He had O’Reilly pinned with the Code Red (leg trap sunsef flip powerbomb), but Judas made the save. O’Reilly pinned Macktion with a devastating double Death Valley Driver.
The show was over three hours long at this point but nobody was leaving without seeing their man,
(10) Truitt Fields pinned

Before the show started, Mark Storm announced that Pro Wrestling NEXT was an official affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance!
In the opening match of the evening, Zero Gravity and Samuray Del Sol def. Nick Brubaker and The Hybrids in an impressive high flying match. Del Sol looked especially impressive in his PWN debut.
Mark Storm came out to the ring and former SCW Senior Executive Jake Ryder followed shortly behind. Storm announced that he was keeping a majority of the SCW roster as part of his staff. Jake assumed that meant he still had a job too, but Storm cleared that right up when he officially fired Jake Ryder. Jake asked Storm what he was suppose to do. Storm said that Super Target was hiring. Security then escorted Ryder out of the building.
"The One Legged Wonder" Zach Gowan def. Juice Robinson with a moonsault off the top rope.
Tyler Black and Marek Brave were set to square off, but Brave said that he didn’t agree to compete against Black and that he was going to do it his way and introduced his partner making it a 2-on-1 match, Ring of Honor star Jimmy Jacobs. Just as Jacobs and Brave were about to strike, Krotch’s music hit and we were treated to a surprise tag match.
Tyler Black and Krotch def. Jimmy Jacobs and Marek Brave when Jacobs and Brave had an argument that led to Jacobs giving Brave a DDT and leaving him. Brave has certainly has his fair share of humility over the last few months. It’ll be interesting to see how he bounces back.
QC Champion Hunter Matthews came to the ring ready to wrestle Krotch in their scheduled QC Title Match, but since Krotch had already competed, he could not compete in the QC Title Match. When Matthews thought he didn’t have to defend, Mark Storm announced that he would have an opponent and it would be his longtime rival, Dewey Dawson.

Shane Hollister def. Arik Cannon to retain the NWA Iowa State Championship in a fantastic match that had the crowd on the edge of their seat
The Phoenix Twins and The Northstar Express went to a Double DQ as things got out of control. These two teams will meet again on June 5th and you, the fans can pick the stipulation!
In the main event, Danny Daniels def. The Mississippi Madman to become the new PWN Champion when a masked man ran in and distracted Madman long enough for Daniels to put the former champ through a table and getting the pin.

NEWISH NWA NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!!
On February 28th of this year, Crusher Hansen and Brandon K became the new North American Tag Team Champions. This was a surprise because these men had been involved in a fued with each other for over 6 months. It came as no surprise when, after only their first title defense, they agreed to disagree. Both men realized that they could not co-exist as a team and decided to find out who would lay claim to the NWA North American Tag Team Titles. They agreed to each pick a partner and the winning team would lay claim to the titles. This match took place on April 11th 2009 in
Crusher Hansen was first to the ring and announced his partner to be up and coming wrestling James Ross. Brandon K was out next and said he was also going to take a competitor from the NWA East but he was going for the top gun. He selected the NWA East Heavyweight Champion, Scottie Gash. After a highly competitive match, Brandon K slipped Crusher Hansen into the ankle lock. Hansen finally had to give in and tap out as Gash held off his tag partner, managers and entourage. The win meant that the new NWA North American Tag Team Champions would be the new team of First Class Brandon K and The Spotlight Scottie Gash. Collectively, they are now known as Excellence Personified.
This is Scottie Gash’s first NWA title. He has held every title in the NWA East including 3 runs as the NWA East Heavyweight Champion including his current eight month run.
This is the third different partner with whom Brandon K has held the NWA North American Tag Team Titles. He also has held the NWA East Heavyweight Title 4 times.

Dys and The Ninja defeated Rice and Kisses by DQ when Bobby V laid out the Ninja with a chair shot. St.Homles came out and banned Everyone from ringside during Bobby V/Troy Walters
"Y2GAY" Jack Verville defeated Carter Dunn
Under Ground Defeated Gibbson and Benjamin to become brand new NWA Insanity Tag Team Champions. Canadian Foundation was eliminated 1st then Ego Trip. Under Ground ran in after Gibbson/Benjamin thought they won the titles. Under Ground then beat down the young tag team and even put there hands on Derek St.Holmes!! Ego Trip made the save and ran off Under Ground.
Bobby Valentino defeated Troy Walters becoming New NWA Midwest X-Division Champion when Y2Gay got involved helping Bobby win the Title and joining up with The Entourage.
Chase Mccoy defeated Justin Dredd to become brand new NWA Insanity Champion. Dredd went for an RKO but was thrown into Scott Demarc which led to Chase laying out Dredd with a belt shot.
NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion Silas Young defeated Mickey Mccoy with a great roll up at the 15 min mark. This was a great wrestling match with a great amount of near falls.
