Former WWE & Current TNA Star Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson Headlines NWS Triple-Shot Weekend This Friday-Sunday January 29-31 In New Jersey & Delaware, Plus WWE Alums The Giant Silva & The Patriot & Sal Sincere, The Nigerian Nightmares & More.

This weekend, January 29th-31st, National Wrestling Superstars kicks off 2010 with a three-show star-studded weekend headlined by the first area appearance of former WWE star and current TNA star Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson .After Anderson’s stellar debut at the TNA pay-per-view a week ago, he is making his first-ever appearance with NWS, and he is indeed looking to make an impact

This Friday night January 29th, NWS returns to their central Jersey hot spot, the Manville, NJ VFW Hall (600 Washington Avenue, minutes from Routes 28 and I-287) with a 7:45pm bell time. And this night of stars just got one star larger, as the beautiful Angelina Love, formerly and once again a star of TNA Wrestling, joins this already star-studded NWS show. Another former TV star in Manville will be WWE and WCW alumnus "America’s Hero" The Patriot, who will, for the first time, step into the ring along with a mystery partner against a tag-team whose members each outweigh him two to one. We can only be talking about the 800 pound plus of the undefeated Nigerian Nightmares. A few months ago, at NWS’ last Manville show, these two behemoths attacked The Patriot after his match, and America’s Hero, having never backed down from a fight in his entire life, immediately issued the challenge for a face-to-face tag-team match. Has The Patriot bitten off more than he can chew? Come to Manville this Friday and find out. NWS will also have its first ever "Last Man Standing Coffins-Tables-and-Doors Match" in Manville this Friday, featuring four of the top middleweight performers on the circuit today in the likes of NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, Oceans’ arch and NWS Jersey Shore Champion "G.Q." Myke Quest, NWS Tag-Team Champion Corvis Fear, and Philadelphia standout and J-Cup runner-up Devon Moore. Also donning the tights will be regional and local pro mat favorites such as Indian Warrior Draven, Brooklyn’s Sonny Boy Gulano, the infamous Jack Spade, plus Chikara Wrestling star Frightmare and Ring Of Honor standout Alex Payne.Ticket prices for Manville are still the same as 2008 and 2009, only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.

This Saturday night January 30th, NWS heads down to the Jersey Shore and their favorite venue the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, minutes from The Parkway, Route 70, and the Brick Plaza) with a 7:35pm bell time.Mr. Kennedy will make an encore appearance at the Jersey Shore, but two other WWE alumni will also share the stage in Brick, in former WWE TV bad boy Salvatore Sincere and former WWE developmental protege "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews. At the last NWS show in Brick, these two brash heels wreaked havoc all throughout the night, and NWS management finally had enough and decreed that the two of them would have to take on none other than the 800+ pound undefeated pair of monsters known as The Nigerian Nightmares. Sal and Kevin are calling themselves "Sincerely Cocky", but it will take far more than cockiness for these two to survive this challenge.
NWS has also just added, to an already star-studded and action-packed card, a match for the NWS Junior Heavyweight Title, as long-time Northeast standout Judas Young looks to knock the current reigning champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans off of his perch.

Plus, on-and-off Baghdad Bullies member Hasheem "Chemical" Ali has issued an open challenge to take on any wrestler or wannabe in the building. Also returning to the ring (we think) after a forced sabbatical is popular area referee Mike "Quick Count" Dillon, along with strong area pros like G. Fatal, Kamakaze, and the debut of Ray-Ray Mars and bad boy Gee-Had, plus "American Turncoat" Evil T.N.T, the popular Jersey Shore madman Slayer, A.C. Kewl, Manuel Manny Moore, and many more. Tickets have remained at the bargain price of only $20 for adults and $18 for kids and seniors, and with the Elks Lodge almost always selling out, make sure you get yours early. Tickets are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.

This Sunday afternoon January 31st, NWS travels even further south to Christiana, DE to join up with their Delaware affiliate Funkdafied Wrestling Federation for "Funky New Years 2010" at the Christiana Fire Company Hall (2 East Main Street, at Route 7, minutes from I-95/295/495 and the Delaware Memorial Bridge), with a 3:30pm bell time. Headlining that show will be the seven-foot-seven 400+ pound former WWE Oddity The Giant Silva, as he takes on not just one, or two, or even three, but *FOUR* other wrestlers in a unique "Gullivers Travels Match". The undefeated Nigerian Nightmares will also be on the card, along with "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smooth, the nearly 500 pounds of fun in Dr. Ruthless, Ruff Ryder, former ECW star Wild Bill Wilde, and much more. Tickets are available in advance for only $15 for ringside seats and $10 for general admission by calling the FWF box office at (302) 420-7287.

Remaining seats for all shows (if available) will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time
