Earlier today reports hit the web and spread like wildfire that both Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were leaving TNA Wrestling. Since those reports, Bischoff himself has come out and publicly denied them.
The reports came from a Hulk Hogan account on Twitter, which Bischoff has since confirmed to be a fake Twitter page. The fake Twitter page had the following message on it earlier, which got many of the top wrestling sites to bite:
“I know you’ve heard the rumors brothers and they are true. Eric and I are leaving TNA on a mutual basis. I just got out of meetings now. It was really fun but time to move on. TNA has new leadership coming in. Make sure you Hulkamaniacs still support them. TNA needs the power of Hulkamania to live on brothers.”
