Bayley Says She Knows Her Worth in Wrestling Amid WWE Contract Uncertainty

Bayley has shared an honest update on where she is in her wrestling career as questions continue to pop up over her WWE future. With reports suggesting her current contract expires before the end of 2026, the former Women’s Champion looked back on her journey. She spoke about finally understanding her worth in the wrestling business.

The WWE star shared those thoughts in a behind-the-scenes vlog covering her appearance at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Bayley looks back on her career before her match with Lyra Valkyria

Bayley posted a video on Instagram where she talked about the July 18 show at Madison Square Garden, where she faced Lyra Valkyria. It included footage of her arriving in New York, preparing for the match, and showing the bruises she picked up. The vlog also showed blood from the match still on Valkyria’s gear.

Before stepping into the ring, Bayley admitted this match felt different from her previous visits to MSG. She has wrestled there many times over the years but said this one meant more because of where she is in her career today.

“I’ve been doing this for so long, and I’ve wrestled in the Garden multiple times, a really good amount of times, thankfully, but this one just feels different,” Bayley said.

Bayley then said she now looks at her career from a different perspective. Instead of only thinking about the next match, she has started appreciating everything she has achieved. Moreover, the WWE star understands the place she has earned in the business.

“The time and the stage I am in my career right now, I feel like I’m taking a further look back at everything and seeing it from a different view, and knowing my place in this business and knowing my worth in this business,” Bayley said.

She ended her comments with a message for Lyra Valkyria.

“Lyra is going to find out the hard way, let’s just say that,” Bayley stated.

On Saturday Night’s Main Event, Valkyria beat Bayley clean. Lyra Valkyria even hit a Nightwing onto the steel steps after the match. On the following episode of WWE RAW, Valkyria said she had “run Bayley out of here.” The comment sparked speculation as Bayley did not appear on WWE TV afterward.

More rumors followed when WWE removed Bayley from its advertised SummerSlam Prospect Tryout VIP Experience and replaced her with Ivy Nile.

However, Bayley later returned to action at a WWE live event in Stockton, California.
