WWE’s Stephanie Vaquer Facing Extended Absence Due To Injury — Report

There’s a concerning update on WWE‘s Stephanie Vaquer following he recent injury.

Former Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer endured a backstage beatdown at the hands of the Judgment Day on the April 27 episode of WWE RAW. Michael Cole later noted on commentary that she sustained a second-degree AC sprain due to the attack.

After previous reports stated that Stephanie Vaquer’s injury was legitimate, Wrestlevotes Radio (via Fightful Select) is now reporting that La Primera is out indefinitely with no timetable for a return. They also noted there were rumblings internally in WWE about a minimum six-week absence, but they considered it speculation.

The report also mentioned there’s optimism that Vaquer could be back in time for SummerSlam in August. However, that is not a guarantee.

BodySlam.net had previously reported that WWE kept Stephanie Vaquer’s match against Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 short because both stars were banged up heading into the PLE. Vaquer confronted Liv Morgan after the PLE, sparking fan speculation about a potential rematch between the two down the line. However, it appears they might have to wait a bit longer to see that happen.

WrestleZone wishes Stephanie Vaquer a speedy recovery.
