List of Stars Who Made Their Debut on WWE NXT After Recent Roster Changes

WWE reshuffled the deck on the April 28, 2026, episode of WWE NXT, introducing a wave of new faces after multiple main roster call-ups — but not every “new” arrival was truly new.

With six confirmed debuts and a couple of familiar faces mistaken for fresh call-ups, the night felt less like a reset and more like a full-on roster reboot.

If NXT were playing cards, it just dealt itself a brand-new hand — and maybe stacked the deck while it was at it.

Full list of WWE NXT debuts and surprise appearances on April 28

EVIL

EVIL made the most ominous entrance of the night. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion interrupted NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo under dimmed lights, walked through fog, and handed over a cloth marked “WAR.” No words, just presence — a debut that spoke volumes without saying a thing.

Will Kroos

Will Kroos arrived as the classic “fan in disguise” before flipping the script. After earlier chaos involving Tavion Heights, Kroos hit a massive top-rope moonsault on D’Angelo, making his debut loud and clear — talk about making a splash, or in this case, a crash landing.

Lizzy Rain

Lizzy Rain delivered an in-ring debut that hit the right note. Competing as “The Maiden of Metal,” she defeated Nikkita Lyons with Thunderstruck in a fast-paced match. Her performance wasn’t just electric — it had a shocking finish.

Tristan Angels

Tristan Angels entered through the crowd and immediately targeted North American Champion Myles Borne. Armed with a mic and confidence, he called his shot before chaos followed — proving he didn’t come to blend in, but to stand out.

Kam Hendrix

Kam Hendrix capitalized on that distraction. After Angels diverted attention, Hendrix blindsided Borne with a uranage, closing the segment standing tall. It was a tag-team effort without the tag — divide and conquer at its finest.

Tate Wilder

Tate Wilder made his presence felt differently — by making the save. Following a post-match beatdown by BirthRight, Wilder cleared the ring with a mix of athletic offense, including a Shooting Star Press. This was a debut built on action rather than words.

Mr. Iguana (Special Mention)

Mr. Iguana appeared during the show, leading some fans to believe it was his debut. However, he has been active on NXT since 2025, including major appearances and title challenges. Not a debut — just another cameo from a familiar face.

Nevertheless, it looks like he is here to stay longer than just another cameo.

Tavion Heights (Special Mention)

Tavion Heights also caused confusion. While heavily involved in the night’s chaos and aligned with new arrivals, his NXT debut dates back to 2022. This wasn’t a first impression — it was a reinvention.

The April 28 episode made one thing clear — NXT isn’t rebuilding, it’s reloading. With new challengers circling champions and alliances forming quickly, the brand’s future looks less predictable and far more competitive.
