WWE Legend Slams Hulk Hogan Doc For Cutting Lengthy Interview

WWE legend Kevin Nash reacted strongly to the new Hulk Hogan Netflix docuseries.

The series “Hulk Hogan: Real American” released on Netflix recently. It focused on the life of Hulk Hogan, also known as Terry Bollea. The documentary covered his rise, injuries, and controversies. It also included stories about his personal struggles and public scandals.

The docuseries tried to show Hogan beyond the ring. It explored his identity, fame, and difficult moments. Topics like the Gawker lawsuit and past controversies were included. The docuseries features several wrestling legends who share their views on Hogan’s life.

However, not everyone feels satisfied with how the docuseries turned out. Kevin Nash recently raised concerns about how the project handled his contribution. He claimed the editing left out most of what he shared during filming.

MMA journalist, Ariel Helwani also shared his thoughts X, formerly known as Twitter. He described it as somewhat surface-level. He compared it to other wrestling documentaries released recently. While he called it a nostalgic watch, he felt it didn’t go deep enough.

Nash agreed with that take in his response. He felt important perspectives were cut down too much. Especially from people who had close experiences with Hogan. Nash revealed that he spent hours recording his part.

He said the interview lasted around three hours in total. During that time, he spoke in detail about several topics. That included serious issues connected to Hogan’s career. In fact, it was reduced to just around 30 seconds. That didn’t sit right with him at all.

He wrote, “I was personally interviewed for 3 hours. I went into depth on several topics, including the race incident. I had 30 seconds of air time. Surface is the intent and wasting people who were close. Their time.”
