Zelina Vega Believed To Be Gone From WWE Amid Latest Releases

Zelina Vega is reportedly no longer part of WWE following the latest round of roster changes. The full picture behind her status is still coming into focus.

According to Fightful, Vega has exited the company after a five-year second run that began with her return in 2021.

The reported move comes amid a broader wave of post-WrestleMania roster adjustments. This left several names off the card — and possibly off the roster.

Zelina Vega’s WWE run and reported exit explained

Vega had remained an active presence on Friday Night SmackDown in recent months, most recently appearing alongside her real-life husband, Aleister Black.

The pairing saw her shift back into a managerial role, aligning their real-life connection with on-screen storytelling.

During her second stint, Vega built a well-rounded resume. She emerged as the victor in the inaugural Queen of the Ring tournament, competed as part of Legado Del Fantasma and the L.W.O., and later became the second WWE Women’s United States Champion. These achievements proved she could talk the talk and walk the walk, sometimes in heels and sometimes calling the shots at ringside.

Reports also indicate that Black is believed to have departed alongside her, despite both talents being featured in ongoing SmackDown programming as recently as April 17. Black had remained active in matches and storylines leading into the reported changes, suggesting the decision may have come swiftly.

As of now, WWE has not officially confirmed the departures. However, multiple outlets, including Fightful, have listed Vega among several talents believed to be part of the latest roster cuts.

With no confirmation yet and creative plans often shifting quickly, the situation remains fluid. For now, Vega’s status leaves a notable gap — both as a competitor and as a manager — on SmackDown’s evolving lineup.
