IYO SKY’s Risky WWE RAW Dive Draws More Concern From Fans

More fans have expressed concern after IYO SKY walked away from a dangerous spot on WWE RAW.

The April 20 episode of RAW featured Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY taking on The Kabuki Warriors. During the match, SKY performed a suicide dive on Asuka that saw the Genius of the Sky land on her hand, slightly bending her neck upon impact.

SKY was visibly in pain after the spot but fortunately walked away without a serious injury. The team of RHIYO managed to pick up the win against The Kabuki Warriors, but the dangerous dive prompted a wave of concern on social media.

Users online called for caution after witnessing IYO SKY’s botched dive. One fan said that while they love everything the former WWE Women’s World Champion does, she needs to be careful so she can continue wrestling for years.

“I love everything she does, but girl, I wanna see you wrestle for at least a couple more years. CHILLLL IYO, CHILLLL,” the user wrote.

Another fan was more blunt in their observation, telling SKY to stop doing the suicide dive or risk breaking her neck.

“Ffs io JUST STOP. Somebody in @WWE @RheaRipley_WWE PLEASE ? STOP HER from doing this, she is gonna break her damn neck. Enough is enough.”

One user also pointed to Peter Rosenberg’s previous remarks about the dangers of the move, noting they understand his perspective and hope talent stays safe while performing it.

“And people wanted to hate on @Rosenbergradio for his recent tweet about this stuff ? I understand the guy’s perspective. I cringe and literally pray for God’s protection over #WWE talent whenever I see they’re about to make a suicide dive attempt.”

Rosenberg was previously trolled by Corey Graves on an episode of RAW after IYO SKY performed her signature suicide dive. WrestleZone’s full coverage of the latest episode of RAW is available here.
