The business side of pro wrestling is full of rivalries, but sometimes you get a moment that goes beyond competition. That’s what happened when Becky Lynch reacted to MJF’s recent AEW title loss.
It was a shocker for fans when MJF lost the title to Darby Allin on the April 15, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite. Before the match, MJF said that he wasn’t even aware he had a title defense that night. Later, he was forced to fight Allin, as he would have lost the title if he didn’t.
The match didn’t even take five minutes to end. Allin hit MJF with a Scorpion Death Drop and four Coffin Drops and won with a headlock pin, becoming the new AEW World Champion.
Becky Lynch Responds To MJF After AEW Title Loss
After the match, MJF posted on Instagram and blamed several people, including Tony Khan, Bryan Danielson, referee Aubrey Edwards, Renee Paquette, and Allin himself, saying they were all against him.
While fans argued about his claims in the comment section, one particular response was worth noticing.
Becky Lynch, staying true to her kayfabe character, replied in a supportive way, saying, “Let me know, I’ll put you in contact with the BEST lawyers!”
What made it more interesting is that Lynch works in WWE. Moments like this don’t happen often between employees of rival companies.
A few months ago, MJF also praised The Man and said, “If you don’t like Becky Lynch, go f*ck yourself.”
The two actually know each other from working together on Happy Gilmore 2. Lynch had earlier said she expected MJF to be difficult in real life, but instead found him very kind and talented. That explains why she felt comfortable joking with him online.
