Darby Allin shocked the world this week by winning the AEW World Championship, and now we know when his first official title defense will be.
Tony Khan took to social media on Saturday to confirm that Allin’s first title defense will be against none other than Tommaso Ciampa on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Ciampa, who recently debuted in AEW from a stint in WWE, will look to make a name for himself with a big win.
Allin recently won the title against MJF on AEW Dynamite’s Spring Breakthru show, in a match that shocked pretty much everyone. As a first-time AEW World Champion, Dillon will look to start a long reign with the title with a big win.
