WWE has put one of its most famous props up for auction- the same casket used by The Undertaker in his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.
The casket is from The Undertaker’s final match, making it a special piece of wrestling history. The Boneyard Match, which took place in 2020, was very different from normal matches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a live crowd, WWE created a cinematic, graveyard-style fight, which fans still remember today.
The casket played an important role in that match. AJ Styles arrived in that casket in Undertaker’s style, mocking him.
What followed was a wild fight across a graveyard and a warehouse. There was physical action and supernatural storytelling as well. The match ended with The Undertaker throwing Styles off a roof and then burying him in a grave. The final scene, where The Undertaker rode away on his bike, became one of the most memorable moments of the pandemic era.

Now, that same casket is being sold to fans. To make it even more special, it has been signed by both The Undertaker and AJ Styles. Fans who are in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 can also see it in person before bidding. The auction started on April 15 on the WWE Shop and will run until April 24.
The reaction online has been mixed. Some fans are excited about owning such a rare item, while others joked about the prospect of keeping a full-size casket at home. Some are even calling it another cash grab act from TKO, saying WWE should preserve items like this instead of selling them.
Still, the auction shows how important the Boneyard Match was, especially because it was The Undertaker’s last match in WWE.
