WWE’s Stephanie Vaquer Says Booker T Made Her Love ‘The Devil’s Kiss’ Again

WWE‘s Stephanie Vaquer explains how Booker T made her love her Devil’ Kiss move again after she wanted to stop performing it.

Reigning WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer was the latest guest on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast. During the conversation, she revealed that she wanted to stop doing her Devil’s Kiss move after signing with the promotion. However, an NXT coach persuaded her not to do so after seeing her perform it during training.

Stephanie Vaquer noted that she had many reasons for wanting to stop doing the Devil’s Kiss, saying people were interpreting the move in ways she did not intend or appreciate. However, Booker T’s enthusiastic reactions to the move in WWE NXT helped shift public perception, and also made Vaquer love it again.

“You know what? Before WWE, I did that move for a long time. When I did that move before WWE, was a little different than now. When I sign with WWE, I think, Okay, I want to stop doing that move for many reasons. I think sometimes people take that move different ways, and I don’t like that,” Stephanie Vaquer said.

“In NXT one day, we were training, and I showed that move, and the coach is saying, ‘No, that’s good, people know that move and people like that move.’ I’m thinking yeah, but I don’t know why I don’t like it anymore. I don’t want to do that move because I hate what people say, it’s just because that move, and people can’t sometimes understand that move, and I’m gonna start to do it again. I feel good because Booker T make that move so people love this move, so I’m starting to love this move again, because Booker T make me feel like that,” Stephanie Vaquer said.

Stephanie Vaquer will be in action this Saturday on WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1, where she will defend her Women’s World Championship against 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan.
