Austin 3:16 is coming to Fortnite on 4/16.
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to join wrestling personalities like The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, The Undertaker, and Cody Rhodes as the newest purchasable in-game model in Fortnite.
Fortnite made the official announcement on X/Twitter, posting a video showing the detailed in-game skin of the Texas Rattlesnake for the first time. Steve Austin’s model will be available on April 16 and will feature a smoking skull back bling, his signature vest, and jean shorts. The clip showed the WWE legend making his entrance to his music and doing his iconic beer smash.
“AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE… 4.16.26.” Fortnite’s caption read.
Steve Austin will make his debut as part of Fortnite x WWE Wave 3, and along with him, fans will also get the chance to play as Liv Morgan when the models drop on April 16.
Stone Cold Steve Austin shares WWE in-ring status update
During his recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Stone Cold Steve Austin confirmed that he’s done as an in-ring performer. While he believes he can still get in the ring, that’s not something he’s actively looking to do.
“I wish when I had that match with Kevin Owens a couple of years ago, that they would have sent me down the ring so I could have got some timing and some wind and a lot of things, so I could have had a better match with Kevin Owens,” Steve Austin said. But yeah, I’m done.
“I could go out and do something. I’m not lobbying to do that. But I guess it’s cool that people would still, and there’s a lot of people that don’t, so the fact that people are still like, ‘Hey man, it would be cool to see him do something.’ I guess it’s an honor,” Steve Austin said.
