EC3 has commented on his potential return to TNA Wrestling.
TNA Wrestling recently introduced a mystery box angle, which they would reveal at the Rebellion pay-per-view tomorrow. While the original video showed the outside of the box, another one that followed showed what’s inside. The box contained a Cleveland Indians block ‘C’ hat, along with a foam finger and wrestling trunks that belonged to EC3, teasing the former World Champion’s return.
Now, EC3 has commented on his potential TNA return by reposting the video on X/Twitter with a cryptic message using biblical language.
“Threezus 2:37 – And the Ark was opened before the congregation. And The Top 1% was inside. And it had not changed. Had not diminished. Had not apologized for its existence. And the people saw. And Rebellion was no longer just a name. It was a warning,” EC3 wrote.
EC3 competed for TNA Wrestling between 2013 and 2018, and won the World Championship twice. He signed with WWE in January 2018 and had a lackluster run, which ended in 2020. He then went on to start Control Your Narrative, competed for ROH and NWA, and recently announced his departure from the latter.
EC3 recently clarified his comments about being blackballed from wrestling
After his comments became a talking point among wrestling fans, EC3 clarified on X/Twitter that it was only a sarcastic remark and that people misinterpreted it.
“If you believe reporting like this, you are re(dacted),” EC3 wrote. “I do not believe I am blackballed. What I do believe is that wrestling media still can’t grasp tone, context, or the difference between a sarcastic aside and a human being filing a grievance online. Built different. Obviously.
“Blackballed? Please. The only thing my balls are is sunned,” EC3 added. “No. I have been ‘building.’ Quietly. Developing talent. Crafting Exodus Pro as a prestige independent. Working on a ‘creative conclusion’ to The Top 1% that will blow ‘wrestling brains loads.’ Blackballed implies someone has power over me. Name one.”
