Triple H Wishes WWE Creative Was As Easy As Fans Think It Is

Triple H gets candid about his work within WWE’s creative team.

As WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque is tasked with overseeing the company’s creative department, which plots out WWE programming and storylines. This potential matches, promos, angles, and other elements that make up the overarching stories seen on TV and across social media.

While appearing on What Do You Wanna Talk About, Triple H opened up about the challenges faced by WWE’s creative team.

“There’s so many aspects to what we do, even just on a regular, general daily basis. You’re putting something out there in some manner. ‘In an ideal world, I would do this,’ we don’t live in an ideal world,” he said. “We live in a realistic world where ‘I can’t do that because of this. I can’t move this here because…’ It can be something as simple as, these two people don’t get along, or, I know this person has an injury. Whatever the moment, the sequence, the scenario is, there’s so many factors to all of it. I wish it was as simple as what people think when they go ‘Why don’t they just do this?’ I wish it was that simple, I really do.” (H/T WrestleTalk)

As part of the WWE Unreal series, fans have gotten a glimpse into WWE’s creative process, which involves a series of writers, producers, and other executive figures. WWE elevated Triple H’s role to Chief Content Officer in 2022.
