The Hurt Syndicate Set For AEW Return ‘Soon’

One of AEW’s most dominant groups, The Hurt Syndicate, is looking ready to return soon.

The Hurt Syndicate is basically a new version of the old WWE group, The Hurt Business. They came back together in October 2024 and became a powerful trio in AEW. With MVP leading the group, Lashley bringing strength, and Benjamin adding skill, they were a tough team to beat.

But the group hasn’t been seen on AEW for the past few months. Lashley last wrestled at AEW Full Gear 2025 in a big match to crown the first AEW National Champion. After that, he was reportedly out due to injury. Benjamin was last seen on the January 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he lost to Jon Moxley.

Outside the ring, MVP has also been busy. He is set to be featured in two upcoming projects by filmmakers Damian Abraham and Zach Feldberg’s new production company, Cut & Paste Pictures.

The last time all three members competed together was back in October 2025.

MVP says The Hurt Syndicate will be back in action ‘soon’

Recently on X, MVP shared a photo with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, with a strong message. He wrote, “The coolest thing is that we are back together in @AEW and we’ll be back in action SOON! Hurting people!!! #wehurtpeople #fashionablyviolent”

Even with their time away, the future looks good for The Hurt Syndicate. MVP and Benjamin have reportedly signed new deals with AEW, showing they plan to stay.

MVP has also hinted at adding new members to the group. During his appearance on the Battleground Podcast, MVP said, “It’s a possibility. We are currently discussing adding a new member…Yeah, we’re talking.”

He then criticized MJF for his failure as a member last time. MVP said that MJF was “not good enough” and “he doesn’t have the internal capability for true violence.”

MVP also hinted that they were looking for a young member, someone with a “youthful spark.”

However, as of now, there is no official return date yet for The Hurt Syndicate.
