LA Knight just can’t seem to catch a break.
LA Knight was the guest commentator for the World Tag Team Championship Street Fight between The Usos and The Vision on last night’s episode of WWE RAW. He made his way out to his music, and before he could take his seat on the commentary desk, Knight climbed up the turnbuckles to do his signature pose.
However, the night nearly turned ugly for the former United States Champion as he slipped on the second turnbuckle and almost fell backwards to the ground. He caught himself at the last second, avoiding a full-on disaster. While Jimmy Uso tried to catch him, Jey just pointed at him and laughed. But the slip didn’t slip from the fans’ eyes, as they promptly took to social media to point out that LA Knight has been having a rough few weeks.
LA Knight slipped off the turnbuckle as he attempted to hit Randy Orton with an elbow drop at the Elimination Chamber PLE, and he fell over the barricade and crashed onto the floor during a run-in on last week’s RAW. Fans shared hilarious reactions to Knight’s botch, questioning why he falls off things every week.
Despite the literal slip-up, LA Knight continued with his commentary duties during the match. He also got involved in the action when he tried to stop Logan Paul from using brass knuckles. However, the weapon somehow ended up in iShowSpeed’s hands after Paul pulled him to the ringside.
A confused iShowSpeed then accidentally punched LA Knight and Logan Paul, inadvertently helping Logan Paul and Austin Theory win the World Tag Team Championship. Fans are now calling for a match between Knight and Speed at WWE WrestleMania 42.
