Seth Rollins got arrested on WWE RAW following a heated confrontation with Paul Heyman.
It all started when Paul Heyman called out Rollins. But this time, Heyman looked ready. He claimed Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker wouldn’t be returning anytime soon. Even mentioned that The Vision and Brock Lesnar had left the show.
A masked man showed up and climbed onto the announce desk. He then revealed himself as Rollins. However, Boston Police rushed in and told him to step down. Heyman kept mocking him and pushing his buttons.
Finally, Rollins snapped and ran into the ring, punching Heyman. After attacking him again, Boston Police stepped in. They handcuffed Rollins after he violated a restraining order. The police walked him out of the arena. The tension between Heyman and Seth Rollins keeps growing every week.
What Seth Rollins’ arrest could mean for his WWE future
Things don’t feel normal after the arrest. Heyman, known for his mastermind plans, may already be planning something against the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
1. This could be setting up Bron Breakker’s return
Bron Breakker is close to making his return, and WWE may be using this storyline to keep Rollins busy. Reports say Breakker was recently at the Performance Center, which is a strong sign he is close to being cleared.
Rollins has been busy targeting Heyman for weeks. This could lead to the return of Bron Breakker. At the Royal Rumble, a hooded figure, believed to be Rollins, attacked Breakker and cost him his spot in the match. With Breakker’s highly anticipated return, this could set up a big match between the two at WrestleMania 42.
2. This could signal a major stipulation match
WWE has often used arrest angles to take feuds to the next level. In past storylines involving stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair, similar moments led to chaotic, no-disqualification or unsanctioned matches.
When things get this personal, normal matches don’t feel enough. This could be setting up a stipulation match. It could be no disqualification or even unsanctioned. Rollins vs Breakker may happen with no limits or inside Hell in a Cell.
3. WWE may be using this to control Seth Rollins’ appearances
WWE may be using this angle to give Rollins time to fully recover before returning to the ring. They could also write him off TV for a while. Rollins is still dealing with a shoulder injury, even though he continues to appear on the show.
He has not wrestled any WWE stars recently and has mostly been part of segments with Paul Heyman. With WrestleMania 42 still weeks away, WWE may keep him off TV until then. He could return when Bron Breakker also comes back.
With WrestleMania 42 getting closer, this storyline could be building toward a big moment for Seth Rollins.
