Latest Update on Tom Brady’s WWE WrestleMania 42 Status — Report

Talk about Tom Brady possibly showing up at WWE WrestleMania 42 is growing, but the latest update says fans shouldn’t get too excited yet.

Most of the buzz is coming from Brady’s back-and-forth with Logan Paul. The two have been taking shots at each other since Brady mocked pro wrestling, calling it “cute.” It got reactions from many WWE stars, along with Paul, of course. The WWE star later even issued a challenge to any football player to face him in a boxing match, which didn’t materialize.

Recently, things picked up even more during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where Brady and Paul played on different teams. Neither of them won, but their rivalry was seen both on and off the field.

Because of this, many fans think WWE could be setting up a big crossover moment at WrestleMania.

But according to Dave Meltzer, nothing is finalized yet. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, he said talks are happening, but there is no deal right now.

“From what I have been told, they are in negotiations with Tom Brady – but there is absolutely not a deal at this point for Tom Brady. So it could happen. Obviously, Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working. I mean, everyone knows they’re working the angle. I think people have seen that coming in. But there could be something in some form at WrestleMania, it would not be a surprise,” Meltzer said.

Meltzer also explained that the exchanges between Brady, Paul, and WWE stars are likely part of a storyline to build hype, not real-life issues.

“And what they did in the football game was clearly to build it. Just as all the talk of, you know, Tom Brady cutting down pro wrestlers and the wrestlers all responding- that is all storyline. That is not like Tom Brady’s a dick and he doesn’t respect pro wrestling,” Meltzer added.

Another reason people are talking about this is Brady’s link to Las Vegas. He is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and WrestleMania 42 will take place at their home stadium, Allegiant Stadium. This makes a possible appearance feel more realistic.
