Stephanie McMahon has been “indirectly” trying to recruit social media star Livvy Dunne to WWE.
During her recent conversation with NXT’s Sol Ruca on her What’s Your Story podcast, former WWE Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon addressed WWE’s N.I.L. program, which scouts and recruits college athletes who want to train to become wrestlers before they graduate.
Stephanie McMahon then recalled her conversation with Livvy Dunne last year and noted that the 23-year-old social media influencer and former gymnast is a big advocate of the program. She also revealed that she’s been indirectly trying to recruit Dunne to WWE.
“I keep trying to recruit Livvy indirectly,” McMahon said. “Team WWE, Livvy, if you’re watching or listening. You got this.” [H/T SI.com]
Stephanie McMahon reveals how much she knew about WWE Hall of Fame induction
During the 2025 WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE, The Undertaker surprised Stephanie McMahon, who was seated among the fans, by announcing that she is the first inductee into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. Looking back at that moment, McMahon told Megan Morant how much she knew about the induction.
The WWE legend noted that she only knew they were going to do an “ID shot” of her as she was seated in the crowd. She also thought that the Undertaker’s bike stalled out when he first stopped by her.
“And then the cameraman comes over and he says, ‘Hey, we’re just going to shoot over your shoulder for Taker’s entrance.’ And I was like, ‘Okay.’ Hmm, I didn’t know Taker was in the show. And I was like, but it makes sense. It’s a huge show that we would have our biggest stars.So here comes Take and he’s revving his bike and he gives me the look ringside, which he normally does if I’m sitting ringside. That wasn’t unusual. And then the bike shuts off and I actually think he stalls it out,” Stephanie McMahon said.
“So I’m like, about to start laughing, you know, like point at him. But no, he actually intentionally shut it off there, gets off the bike, now has a microphone, and is still looking at me, directly at me. So I’m like, okay, something’s happening here, but I don’t know what it is. He calls me over and then he’s like, ‘we’re gonna sit there.’
“I mean, you want me to sit there? ‘Sit down.’ Oh, okay.It’s the Undertaker, you do as as you’re told.And as he’s talking, it’s going through my mind like, what on earth is this? ‘Cause we’re live, I know we’re live. It’s my birthday the following week. So I’m like, ‘is he going to lead everybody in singing Happy Birthday?” Stephanie McMahon said.
Reflecting on the surprise in the end, Stephanie McMahon said the whole ordeal was an honor, and “unfathomable” that she would get chosen due to how much it means.
Along with her, AJ Styles and Demolition will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The company also announced NBA legend Dennis Rodman will be the first celebrity inductee of the 2026 class.
