Toni Storm Found Laid Out Backstage Before No Holds Barred Match on AEW Dynamite

The March 18, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite started with chaos after Toni Storm was found laid out, unconscious, backstage just hours before her match.

Storm was scheduled to face Marina Shafir in a No Holds Barred match. This was meant to be a rematch after Storm defeated Shafir at AEW Revolution 2026. But things took a different turn before the show even started.

Toni Storm Attacked Ahead of AEW Dynamite Match

AEW shared a video on social media showing a backstage segment where the interviewer heads to Storm’s locker room. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard. Luther was seen shaking in shock. When the door opened, Storm was seen lying on the floor and not moving. There was no sign of her attacker.

Mina Shirakawa was there beside Storm, screaming in anger and shock. She then took the microphone and warned the unknown attacker, saying, “Whoever did this, I will find you and I will end you.”

She then sent a warning to Marina Shafir, saying. “Marina, if it was you, this is your last day on earth. Because tonight, I will fight.”

With no clear attacker, there are a few suspects who could be responsible.

The first one is Shafir. After losing at Revolution, she had a strong reason to get revenge. Attacking Storm before the match could give her an advantage or even stop the match from happening.

Another big name being discussed is Ronda Rousey. She made a surprise appearance after Storm’s win at Revolution and confronted her. Storm accepted her challenge, but officials stopped things from getting out of hand.

There is also a chance it wasn’t just one person. Rousey and Shafir have worked together before, so it could have been a two-on-one attack.

So far, AEW has not given an update on Storm’s condition.
