WWE Top Star Returns To Target AJ Lee on RAW After Title Match

WWE’s women’s division recorded a new development on the March 16 episode of WWE RAW. AJ Lee successfully defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, the celebratory mood came to a screeching halt when Becky Lynch returned and attacked her after the match.

AJ Lee defended her title against Bayley. Bayley had earned her title shot on the March 9 episode of RAW and came in ready. The match started with both women testing each other, and they looked evenly matched early on.

Lee soon picked up the pace, using her speed to take control and go for a few quick pin attempts. But Bayley fought back, even turning things around with a near fall of her own.

Lee hit a bulldog, lariats, and a strong kick, but Bayley refused to give up. Bayley, on the other hand, got very close to winning after hitting her Bayley-to-Belly suplex, but Lee kicked out just in time.

Lee finally retained her title after Bayley tapped out to her Black Widow submission.

But the celebration didn’t last long.

Becky Lynch Returns on WWE RAW

After the win, Lee started interacting and celebrating with fans, and just when she started walking up the ramp, Becky Lynch suddenly returned and attacked her.

Lynch came out of nowhere, knocking Lee down and throwing her into the barricade. She kept attacking, smashing Lee into the steel and tossing her around at ringside.

Referees and officials tried to stop her, but Lynch didn’t back down. Becky Lynch grabbed the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and hit Lee with it, leaving her lying out on the stage.

The former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion then stood tall, holding the title high. Before leaving, she threw the championship onto Lee’s body, making her intentions very clear.

Lynch last fought on Elimination Chamber, and now that she is back, AJ Lee’s title run is in danger. A possible WrestleMania 42 match between the two might be cooking, and we might see a change in the name of the title holder.
