WWE Star Loses First Match Back on SmackDown After Two-Month Absence

A returning WWE star stepped back into the ring on the March 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, looking to settle unfinished business after weeks away from action.

The comeback match placed her directly across from one of the most dominant competitors in the women’s division.

While the bout delivered several competitive moments, the result showed just how difficult it can be to shake off ring rust — especially when the opponent is the reigning champion.

WWE Star Michin Returns From Injury but Falls to Jade Cargill on SmackDown

Michin” Mia Yim made her in-ring return on the March 13 broadcast of SmackDown after being sidelined for roughly two months due to injury.

Her comeback match came against WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill in a non-title singles contest. The bout marked Michin’s first match back following a storyline injury that had delayed her ongoing issues with Cargill.

Despite the time away, Michin wasted little time showing she was ready to compete. She opened the match with quick kicks and fast counters, even sending Cargill into the barricade during an early exchange.

As the match continued, Michin strung together several near momentum shifts. She connected with moves including a Tornado DDT and a Pele kick, later following up with the Eat De-Feet kick in an attempt to put the champion away.

However, Cargill’s strength advantage eventually shifted the momentum. At one point, she powered Michin into the barricade outside the ring before bringing the action back between the ropes.

The finish came when Cargill executed her finishing move, Jaded, to secure the pinfall victory.

The match also served as a continuation of their developing rivalry. Michin previously confronted Cargill in a backstage segment on February 20 alongside B-Fab, carrying a kendo stick while seeking revenge for the earlier injury.

After the match, Cargill cut a confident promo in the ring before Rhea Ripley interrupted her. This teases further developments in the women’s title picture heading toward WrestleMania 42.
