A major music name is set to step onto the WWE SmackDown stage this week. However, their appearance doesn’t come in the way fans might expect.
During the March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, a special edition of Miz TV will feature a guest from outside the wrestling world.
While WWE often brings celebrities into the spotlight, this particular appearance adds another layer to the ongoing Road to WrestleMania 42.
The segment was confirmed by The Miz himself through social media ahead of Friday’s broadcast.
Jelly Roll Confirmed As Guest on Special Miz TV Segment
The Miz revealed that chart-topping musician Jelly Roll will appear as the guest on a special edition of Miz TV during the March 13 broadcast of SmackDown.
Promoting the segment, The Miz wrote that the music star would step into the iconic interview chair for the first time.
“Tomorrow a Special Edition of Miz TV, my guest JELLYROLL,” Miz wrote. “Music superstar. Chart-topper. Sold-out arenas everywhere. But tomorrow he enters the one arena he’s never been in before… The Miz TV interview chair.”
The episode will take place at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, airing live on USA Network in the United States and on Netflix in international markets.
Jelly Roll is not a complete stranger to WWE programming. The musician previously appeared at SummerSlam 2025, where he even competed in a tag team match alongside Randy Orton.
Reports earlier this week suggested that internal discussions within WWE could potentially lead to Jelly Roll appearing at WrestleMania 42. Nevertheless, no such plans have officially come to light.
Friday’s SmackDown will feature several other notable segments as well. A contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will make their Undisputed WWE Championship match official for WrestleMania 42. Jade Cargill is also scheduled to face Michin in a non-title match.
With The Miz hosting and a chart-topping guest stepping into the spotlight, the segment promises to blend music and mayhem.
After all, Miz TV has a long history of turning interviews into in-ring chaos — and if that trend continues, someone might end up singing a very different tune.
