Mustafa Ali Shows Off New Look on TNA iMPACT

Mustafa Ali continues to evolve his character in professional wrestling. On the March 12, 2026 episode of TNA iMPACT!, he appeared with a new look while still showing the aggressive attitude that has defined his recent run.

Ali confirmed in January that he had re-signed with TNA, and since then, he has been featured regularly on the promotion’s shows. His character has also changed recently. Instead of the calculated “politician” persona he used, Ali now shows a more intense side. This darker version of his character now leads the faction Order 4.

During the March 12 episode, Ali teamed up with members of Order 4, The Great Hands, in a six-man tag team match. They faced Trey Miguel, Rich Swann, and BDE.

During the latter half of the match, things got chaotic outside the ring. Tasha Steelz jumped onto the ring apron to distract. Jada Stone then ran in and pulled her down.

The situation escalated. Stone chased Steelz up the entrance stage and even jumped off it to tackle her. As officials tried to control the situation, the match reached its final moments.

Miguel avoided a slingshot spear from John Skyler. He then hit the Shellshock before landing the Lightning Spiral to secure the win.

Even though his team lost, Ali still managed to keep the spotlight on himself. After the match, he held up the International Championship currently carried by Miguel, hinting that Ali has his eyes on the title.

Fans noticed that Ali had changed his look as well. He has rocked a long hairstyle much of his career, but now, he showed up with a shorter haircut.

Ali has often used changes in his appearance to support his storytelling. Early in his career on the independent circuit, he wrestled as a masked luchador. Later in WWE, he adopted a futuristic, superhero-style look with a glowing mask and LED ring gear.

He later switched to a darker style as the leader of the RETRIBUTION faction. After that, he reinvented himself again with the “In Ali We Trust” politician-style character in TNA and other promotions. That version of Ali often wore suits and glasses and was surrounded by bodyguards who looked like Secret Service agents.

Now in 2026, Ali’s shorter haircut and more intense attitude show another step in his evolution.
