WWE NXT Star Cleared To Compete After Injury

A rising WWE NXT talent has provided a positive health update after several weeks away from in-ring action. The performer confirmed the news personally on social media. She gave fans a glimpse into why she had been missing from recent shows.

The update came after a noticeable absence from the EVOLVE brand, where the NXT prospect has been building momentum. While fans had speculated about her status, the wrestler finally revealed the reason behind the quiet stretch.

Chantel Monroe — who has been performing in WWE’s developmental system since 2024 — disclosed details about an injury that had sidelined her for the past few months. Fortunately, the news now comes with a clear turning point.

Chantel Monroe Announces Full Clearance After Nose Injury

Monroe revealed on X that she fractured her nose three months ago. This setback forced her to step away from in-ring competition.

“Three months ago I fractured my nose, and that’s why you haven’t been seeing Chanel Monroe in action these past couple of Wednesdays,” Monroe wrote. She followed that update with a confident declaration about her return.

“But don’t worry divasss — I’m officially fully cleared, back, and ready to give EVOLVE the sparkle it’s been missing.”

The injury explains Monroe’s absence from television following her last notable EVOLVE appearance. She was last seen competing on the January 7 episode of the program, where she faced Wendy Choo in a No Disqualification match in a losing effort.

Monroe has steadily carved out a role on WWE’s EVOLVE brand, which operates alongside NXT as part of the company’s developmental pipeline. Since debuting on the NXT scene in 2024, the former Derrian Gobourne has begun gaining attention from fans who follow WWE’s emerging prospects.

Her matches have featured high-risk offense, including a running Shooting Star Press and an inverted DDT, though returning performers often need a few matches to shake off the ring rust — or in wrestling terms, knock the dust off their boots.

With Monroe now medically cleared, EVOLVE’s women’s division could soon get a little more sparkle — and perhaps a new contender back in the mix.
