WWE Announces New Performance Center Recruits

A new batch of names have come aboard the WWE Performance Center.

As announced on X, four new recruits have joined the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida: Ahmed Essam Samy Twfiq, Ellen Akesson, Rayne Leat, and Delia Schweizer.

For indie wrestling fans, Rayne Leat may be familiar as she performed across Europe as Rayne Leverkusen, making notable rounds at PROGRESS Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling: EVE, and Hustle Wrestling.

In September 2025, Leat competed in Japan for a trio of matches under the Sendai Girls banner. The same year, she participated in two WWE tryouts, where WWE named her the MVP of the SummerSlam iteration.

Last weekend at WWE NXT Vengeance Day, Leat appeared at ringside for the Underground match between Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan. Vice ultimately emerged victorious after knocking Jordan out.

Delia Schweizer is a German CrossFit athlete “living her Florida dream.” As for Ellen Akesson, she is a National Champion in powerlifting, strongwoman, and streetlifting.

Like Leat, Ahmed Essam Samy Twfiq took part in a pair of WWE tryouts last year. He is a multi-time amateur wrestling champion.

When exactly WWE’s newest recruits will make their official in-ring debuts for the company has yet to be seen. Leat has wrestled professionally for over four years, with her last indie match resulting in her dropping the Hustle Championship to Alexander Roth on February 5.
